Three Viola residents and two West Plains residents were injured in a two vehicle accident on Saturday..

The accident took place when a 2013 Dodge Caravan, driven by a 76-year-old West Plains man, attempted to cross Highway 17 from County Road 8800 and collided with a 2007 Chrysler 300 driven by a 66-year-old Viola man.
The Viola man and a female passenger sustained moderate injuries, another passenger from Viola and the two West Plains residents in the Caravan sustained minor injuries. They were all transported to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
The Accident happened on Highway 17 South of West Plains.
