A 51-year-old woman from Marionville was airlifted to Mercy in Springfield after an accident four miles north of Thayer on Saturday.
The accident occurred when a 16-year-old Thayer teen attempted to cross the highway from a county road. The Marionville woman’s 2020 Kia Forte hit the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado, both vehicles were a total loss.

The Juvenile sustained minor injuries and was taken to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
