A two vehicle accident occurred in front of the Junction 14 truck stop just South of the Highway 14/63 Junction late Wednesday morning causing delays in traffic for a short period of time.
The accident involved a small transport van and a compact four door car which came to rest in the center lane. Local Police, West Plains Fire Department, Howell County EMS, First Responders along with Air Evac responded to the accident.

One person was taken by air ambulance for treatment of their injuries.
