The Howell County Sheriff’s Office arrested two fugitives on December 31 after a caller reported that the individuals staying at their residence on County Road 8030 in West Plains had active warrants out of Arkansas.
Deputies were advised that Morgan Miller was wanted on a no‑bond Probation and Parole violation through the State of Arkansas, and that a second individual, Rayndii Tolliver, had a $5,000 cash‑only warrant from Baxter County for removal of a theft detection device, organized retail theft, and burglary.
When deputies arrived and surrounded the residence, they reported hearing frantic movement inside before a door slammed. A resident eventually answered the door but gave conflicting information about who was inside. After receiving consent to enter, deputies located a locked bedroom door that could only be secured from the inside.
Announcements were made, and shortly afterward the door opened. Deputies located Miller and Tolliver inside the room. Both were taken into custody without incident, handcuffed, and transported to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office.
They each face charges of Fugitive From Out of State.
