OREGON CO. – Two people were injured in an Oregon county accident Friday evening at 5:30 PM on US Highway 63, 1 north of Thayer.
According to the accident report from Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident was nearly head on as 46 year old Billy Ragan of West Plains attempted to a tractor trailer in a no passing zone striking another vehicle driven by 35 year old Nathen Bryant of West Plains.

Ragan was transported to Ozarks Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of serious injuries. Bryant received moderate injuries and was taken to OMC by private vehicle.
