From the Shannon County Sherriff’s Department:
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Winona Police Department, executed a successful intervention involving an unconscious individual behind a gas pump. The vehicle, still running and in drive, posed an immediate danger to the public. The subject, identified as Josh Shipton, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs.
Shipton was promptly placed under arrest. After being medically cleared and deemed fit for confinement, he was transported and booked into the Shannon County Jail, where he now faces a Class D Felony charge for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamines. Bond is set at $5,000.00 cash only.
