Wasola woman injured in Monday crash near Rockbridge

Gainesville, Mo. – A one-vehicle accident near Rockbridge Monday afternoon sent a Wasola woman to the hospital. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on Highway N, two miles south of Rockbridge at 4:30 p.m.

A southbound 2005 Honda CRV driven by Tammie Loftis, 57 of Wasola, failed to negotiate a curve, running off the right side of the roadway and striking a ditch. Loftis had not been wearing a safety device and suffered moderate injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home for treatment.
