West Plains, Mo. – West Plains Bank and Trust Company has made a $40,000 donation to the Christos House Tiny Home Project, an initiative to construct 14 tiny homes which will serve as transitional housing for survivors of domestic violence and their children.
According to West Plains Bank and Trust Company President/CEO David M. Gohn, the donation was made to support victims of domestic violence as they work to build a brighter future for themselves. “We hope those who benefit from this project feel the support of their community during a time of transition in their lives,” Gohn said. “The importance of a private space in which these individuals and their children can heal and rebuild is immeasurable. We are honored to be a part of the project and hope to see many others also choose to support the Christos House Tiny Home Project.”
Christos House is actively seeking community support for the housing project, which has a $700,000 goal and an expected completion date of January 2026. Donations are 70% tax-deductible.
