West Plains City Offices to Close in Observance of Juneteenth

City offices in West Plains, including City Hall and other municipal buildings, will be closed on Thursday, June 19, in recognition of Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.

In observance of the holiday, city officials have announced changes to the residential trash collection schedule. Thursday’s regular trash routes will instead be serviced on Friday, June 20. All other trash collection routes will remain unchanged.
