The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested a West Plains man on Saturday afternoon.
David Cottengim 39 of West Plains is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Display Plates of Another Vehicle, Failure to Equip Vehicle With Adequate Muffler, and No Seat Belt.

The arrest took place at 3:22 in Howell County, he was booked into Howell County Jail and released.
