West Plains Man Charged After Domestic Threats Involving Firearms

David Rouse was arrested on October 24, 2025, after allegedly threatening to kill his girlfriend, her children, her ex-husband, and law enforcement during a domestic disturbance involving firearms.

Deputies responded to the residence around 9:37 p.m. after Rouse reportedly pointed a handgun at the victim multiple times, threatened suicide, and made statements about killing “everyone.” The victim was able to alert her ex-husband, who contacted authorities.
Rouse was detained and admitted to placing a firearm to his head.

Deputies recovered two Glock 9mm pistols from his truck. He is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action. Bond is set at $10,000.
