(WEST PLAINS, Mo.) The West Plains R-VII School District has announced that alumna Mrs. Briana Link will join the district as Communications Director for the 2025-2026 school year.
Link brings over a decade of education and leadership experience. Since 2014, she has served as Vocal Music Teacher at Licking High School in the Licking R-VIII School District. During her tenure, she revitalized the choral and band programs and reestablished the school’s theater program three years ago.
Beyond the fine arts, Link also coached the varsity cheerleading team and coordinated the school’s pep club for ten years, contributing to both school spirit and student involvement.
“Mrs. Link is an energizing educator with years of experience,” said Superintendent Dr. Wesley Davis. “We are excited to welcome someone to the district who not only has extensive teaching experience, but also understands the Zizzers tradition and expectations. Briana knows a great deal about our school district and has a deep understanding of our community.”
Link officially began her new role on August 12, 2025.
