The City of West Plains is rolling out new poly carts for residential trash collection, with city crews currently distributing the updated containers to customers. Beginning Monday, August 5, residents are asked to begin using the new poly carts for their scheduled trash pickups.
The old trash carts will no longer be serviced after that date, and city officials urge all customers to make the switch to avoid service interruptions.
In addition, the city offers a smaller poly cart option for households that generate less waste. The smaller carts are especially helpful for seniors or families seeking a more manageable curbside solution.
