West Plains Senior Center pushes back re-open date

West Plains, MO –  The West Plains Senior Center has pushed back its re-open date to August 16, 2021. The Center had originally planned to re-open at the beginning of August. COVID-19 cases and the spread of the Delta variant had forced the Senior Center to close dining operations through July 16, then closed activities and dining through the end of July. While cases remain high and vaccinated populations remain low, closures are beginning again.

The Senior Center posted to social media “After conversations with the local health department and our corporate offices, we believe the best plan of action for  the West Plains Senior Center is to move our reopen date. The plan is to reopen fully August 16th. We will continue our Frozen Meal programs. If you have any questions, please call Joy at 417-256-4055.”
