Willow Springs, MO. – Willow Springs High School Senior, Madalyn Poor has been honored as one of the top academic students in the state through the 2024 Missouri Scholars 100 program.
The Missouri Scholars 100 program is a statewide initiative that recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of 100 outstanding students from the graduating class of 2024. It is a competitive program that invites schools across Missouri to nominate high school students based on their academic excellence. The selection process is based on the student’s grade point average and ACT or SAT scores.
All candidates must have met the criteria of navigating ten challenging academic events to showcase their educational knowledge and strength, a GPA of 3.750, and a minimum ACT score of 29 or a minimum SAT score of 1,280, rank in the upper ten percent of their class, engage in school activity programs, and engage in advanced coursework in mathematics, science, English, and a foreign language.
To celebrate the recognition of Madalyn Poor’s academic honor there will be a luncheon hosted in Columbia, MO on April 21, 2024.
