WPCA and Ozarks Healthcare Partner for Mental Health Month Art Exhibit

The West Plains Council on the Arts (WPCA) and Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center (OZH) are teaming up to host a powerful and expressive art exhibit titled “Your Journey; Your Story”, in celebration of Mental Health Month this May.

The exhibit will be on display from May 1 to May 9 in the Gallery at the Center, located on the mezzanine of the West Plains Civic Center. The public is welcome to view the collection during regular Civic Center hours.

Priority Pet Care – Make An Appointment

This themed showcase features works from area residents spanning multiple age groups—from young children to adults—representing communities including Caulfield, Licking, Houston, Mountain Grove, Mountain View, Birch Tree, Winona, and West Plains. All media types are welcomed, with entries reflecting the artists’ personal interpretations of their mental health journeys and stories.

A Meet-the-Artists reception will be held on Friday, May 9, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in the Gallery. The public is invited to attend, meet the artists, and engage in conversations about the inspiring works on display.
