ATV Violations and Firearms Offenses Among Weekly Arrests in Izard County

MELBOURNE, Ark. — The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly incarceration report for the week of July 14 through July 20, 2025. According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were taken into custody. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Kaden Williams, 20, of Batesville, was arrested on July 14 on a warrant for failure to appear in Izard County District Court.

 

  • Michael Ashworth, 31, of Melbourne, was arrested on July 15 for disorderly conduct.

 

  • Evans Elms, 83, of Melbourne, was arrested on July 16 for domestic battery, interference with emergency communications, and violation of a protection order.

 

  • Joseph Steinkampf, 19, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on July 17 for probation violations.

 

  • Jordan Norcross, 21, of Siloam Springs, was arrested on July 17 on a failure to appear warrant from Izard County District Court.

 

  • Charles Branch, 39, of Brockwell, was arrested on July 17 for contempt of court in Izard County Circuit Court.

 

  • Philip Baugh, 46, of Mountain View, was arrested on July 18 pending formal charges related to possession of a controlled substance and firearms violations.

 

  • Stacy Smith, 46, of Mountain View, was arrested on July 18 pending formal charges involving possession of a controlled substance and firearms violations.

 

  • David Talley, 53, of Violet Hill, was arrested on July 18 for third-degree domestic battery.

 

  • Daniel Moser, 43, of Melbourne, was arrested on July 20 for multiple offenses, including operating an ATV on a highway, endangering the welfare of a minor, possession of an open container of alcohol, and driving while intoxicated (DWI).

 

  • Ashley Smith, 43, of Melbourne, was also arrested on July 20 for ATV on a highway, endangering the welfare of a minor, open container, DWI, and driving on a suspended license.
