MDC to Offer Free Virtual Archery Program on August 3

With Missouri’s archery season for deer and turkey set to open on September 15, the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is helping new hunters gear up with a free virtual program on August 3.

Titled “V-Learning Archery: Bow Maintenance,” the online session will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and is designed for those new to archery hunting. Steve Govero, manager of MDC’s Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center, will lead the program, offering expert advice on selecting and maintaining archery equipment.
