YELLVILLE, Ark. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly report detailing law enforcement activity for the week ending July 18, 2025. Deputies responded to a total of 75 calls for service across the county.
Among the calls, deputies conducted two wellness checks and responded to one domestic disturbance. Law enforcement made a total of three arrests during the week — one for a misdemeanor offense and two for felony charges.
Deputies also responded to or assisted with two traffic accidents and completed 15 incident reports. Court-related duties included six hours of bailiff service.
On the investigative side, the Criminal Investigation Division closed one felony case, launched one new death investigation, and conducted 19 interviews related to ongoing investigations. Additionally, four investigative conferences were held throughout the week.
At the Marion County Detention Center, 14 individuals were booked into custody and 13 were released. The facility ended the week with a total of 46 inmates in detention.
