MARION COUNTY, Ark. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly activity report for the week ending November 28, detailing calls for service, arrests, and detention statistics.
Deputies responded to 72 calls for service throughout the week and conducted four wellness checks. The office reported one misdemeanor arrest and one felony arrest. Deputies also assisted with or investigated two accidents and completed 12 incident reports. A total of two bailiff hours were logged.
Investigators opened one death investigation, conducted 11 interviews related to ongoing cases, and completed nine investigative conferences.
At the Detention Center, eight inmates were booked and eight were released. The facility ended the week with a population of 34 inmates.
The sheriff’s office extended well wishes to residents, encouraging the public to enjoy a safe holiday weekend.
