SHARP COUNTY, Ark. — The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly incarceration report for the period of Jan. 5 through Jan. 12, 2026.
According to Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson, the following individuals were incarcerated during the reporting period:
Shalon Applegate, 43, of Highland, was arrested on charges of failure to appear on a misdemeanor contempt charge for failure to pay restitution, public intoxication, open container of alcohol in a vehicle, and failure to register a vehicle.
Evalena Begin, 30, of Jonesboro, was arrested on charges of maintaining a drug premises near a drug-free zone, possession of firearms by certain persons, possession of drug paraphernalia for the manufacture of methamphetamine or cocaine, and possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance, methamphetamine or cocaine, in an amount less than two grams.
Cory Clouse, 38, of Ash Flat, was arrested for parole or probation revocation and faces charges of aggravated assault on a family or household member, terroristic threatening in the first degree, false imprisonment in the second degree, domestic battering in the third degree, and interference with emergency communications in the first degree.
Joni Craft, 47, of Sheridan, Ark., was arrested on a charge of intent to defraud a drug or alcohol test.
Adam Dodge, 53, of Mammoth Spring, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Joseph Ezell, 51, of Harrison, was arrested for failure to pay time pay related to no proof of liability insurance.
Sonja Free, 51, of Williford, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
Justin Holowell, 38, of Pangburn, Ark., was arrested on charges of theft of property valued at $1,000 or less and criminal trespass.
Aden Kantor, 28, of Arkansas, was arrested on a hold for another county or state.
Matthew Loe, 40, of Williford, was arrested on a charge of failure to register and comply with reporting requirements.
Jonathon Passmore, 25, of Batesville, was arrested for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge related to no proof of liability insurance, no child restraint, and careless and prohibited driving.
Austin Patterson, 32, of Ash Flat, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Michael Rynders, 34, of Williford, was arrested for failure to appear on a felony charge and faces additional charges of fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine or cocaine in an amount less than two grams.
Hunter Schreurs, 29, of Highland, was arrested for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge of driving without a valid driver’s license.
Edward Sullivan, 66, of Ash Flat, was incarcerated following a court sentence.
Keri Willingham, 33, of Highland, was arrested on a bond revocation.
All charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Community Service Program Update
In addition to the incarceration report, the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office released an update on inmate community service efforts completed during the same reporting period.
Chief Deputy Simpson reported that inmates participating in the county’s community service program completed a total of 248 cumulative service hours between Jan. 4 and Jan. 10, 2026. The hours were worked across multiple locations and projects throughout Sharp County.
Service efforts included work at Tri-County Recycling, the Sharp County Courthouse, the City of Evening Shade, Cave City Library, Cherokee Village Animal Control, and roadside trash pickup along Highway 58 in Sidney and Highway 62/412 in Ash Flat. The program is coordinated by Brian Watson.
Officials said the community service program allows eligible inmates to work toward paying off fines while providing tangible benefits to communities across Sharp County.
