IZARD COUNTY, Ark. — The Izard County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly incarceration report for the week of Jan. 12, 2026.
According to Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were incarcerated during the reporting period:
Joseph Langston Jr., 26, of Pineville, was arrested Jan. 5 on charges of communicating a false alarm, trafficking a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug premises. Langston is also being held on a probation or parole hold.
John Laxton, 56, of Mount Pleasant, was arrested Jan. 6 on warrants issued by the Izard County Circuit Court for financial identity fraud and two counts of theft of property.
Jonathon Bailey, 53, of Melbourne, was arrested Jan. 8 on a charge of failure to register and comply with reporting requirements as a sex offender.
Bryan Smith, 52, of Mountain Home, was arrested Jan. 8 on charges of careless driving, driving left of center, driving too fast for conditions, and driving while intoxicated.
Tracy Strauser, 45, of Ash Flat, was arrested Jan. 8 on three counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Strauser was also charged as a habitual offender.
Tristan Woods, 21, of Oxford, was arrested Jan. 9 on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, driving on a suspended license, and driving while intoxicated, second offense.
Shelia Stetka, 46, of Calico Rock, was arrested Jan. 11 and is being held pending formal charges related to possession of a controlled substance.
All charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
