Jefferson City, MO. – Ahead of the winter storm expected to come in tonight, the Missouri State Highway PAtrol are urging the public to avoid traffic if at all possible during the weekend.
Captain Scott White stated as such in a news briefing that took place earlier today.

The Highway Patrol will however still be operating at full capacity during the storm, and can be contacted by dialing *55.
