Sheriff’s Office Details Weekly Calls, Recent Arrests

MARION COUNTY, Ark. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to more than 100 calls for service during the week ending April 10, according to a weekly activity report released by the department.

Deputies responded to a total of 105 calls during the reporting period, including three domestic disturbances and six wellbeing checks. Officers made six misdemeanor arrests and two felony arrests during the week.

In addition to routine calls, deputies assisted with or worked three traffic accidents and completed 32 incident reports. The sheriff’s office also reported 18 hours of bailiff duty.

Investigators opened one death investigation and served one search warrant in connection with an ongoing case. Four investigative conferences were also conducted.

The report noted that two investigators recently completed a 24-hour, three-day firearms for crime scenes course through the Criminal Justice Institute, hosted by the Ozark Police Department.

The department’s sex offender registrar opened two investigations related to failure to comply with registration requirements and conducted two compliance checks. Eight registrations were updated during the week.

At the Marion County Detention Center, 15 inmates were booked and 13 were released, leaving a total inmate population of 49 at the end of the reporting period.

Recent arrests over the past 30 days include:

Danniel Ferrell, 39, of Flippin, was arrested April 11 on charges including criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Sara Anne Whitman, 32, of Flippin, was arrested April 10 on charges including failure to pay and felony failure to appear.

Owen Joseph Brewer, 45, of Harrison, was arrested April 9 for failure to appear.

Clinton Royce Cole, 42, of Harrison, was arrested April 8 on charges including possession of a firearm by certain persons and habitual offender status.

Tamara Lynnette Guinn, 45, of Mountain View, was arrested April 8 for failure to comply with registration requirements.

Micah Keith Raley, 38, of Lead Hill, was arrested April 7 on charges including possession of methamphetamine and failure to register a vehicle.

Ethan Jackson, 38, of Dallas, was arrested April 3 and is being held for another agency.

Thomas John Thompson, 82, of Yellville, was arrested March 30 for a probation violation.

Charles William Bergman, 58, of Oakland, was arrested March 30 on charges including failure to pay and felony failure to appear.

John Paul Seward, 33, of Mountain Home, was arrested March 28 on felony drug-related charges.

Kennedy Manuel, 49, of Yellville, was arrested March 17 for failure to appear.

Jabari Lee Graves, 52, of Donaldson, was arrested March 16 and is being held for another agency.

Houston Dale Casey, 32, of Summit, was arrested March 15 on drug-related charges and a hold for another county.

Steven Michael Manson, 35, of Yellville, was arrested March 13 on multiple felony charges including rape and sexual assault.

Destiny Nashay Smith, 30, of Flippin, was arrested March 10 on charges including bond revocation and multiple failure to appear counts.

In addition, several individuals were arrested and released in recent days:

Jessica Griselda Galdamez, 49, of Summit, was arrested April 9 and released April 11 on charges including driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mary Helen Grayson, 37, of Flippin, was arrested and released April 12 on a failure to appear charge.

Daniel Clark Maxon, 77, was arrested April 10 and released April 11 on charges including driving while intoxicated and traffic violations.

Arthur Louis Salsberry, 63, of Harrison, was arrested April 11 and released April 12 on charges of failure to pay.

All charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
