Allie Vivian Gentry

Allie Vivian Gentry, 92 years, 4 days old, passed peacefully to Heaven on February 17, 2022 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center in Ava, Missouri with her family by her side.

Allie was born February 13, 1930 in Round Springs, Missouri to Claude and Doshia (Leek) Miller. She was raised in Brixey, MO and moved to Ava when she was 16.

She met the love of her life Henderson Gentry at the roller skating rink in Ava and they were married on November 29, 1947  in Columbus, KS. Together they were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Brenda and Janet.

Allie was retired from working 50 years as a Regional Manager for Stanley Home Products. She was a Christian and was raised in the General Baptist Faith. She and Henderson attended the Ava General Baptist Church for years. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and playing Bunco with her friends. Allie adored her Henderson and loved her family so much.

Allie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henderson; three brothers, Lavern, Thurman, and Marvin Miller; two sisters, Ola Jane Dubil and Geneva, and son-in-law, Glenn Toler.

Allie is survived by her daughters, Brenda Toler, Springfield, Missouri and Janet Sallee and husband Beaver, Ava, Missouri; four grandchildren, Holly and Daren Hall, April and Aaron McNeil, Cliff  and Jason Sallee, Andy and Sarah Sallee; great grandchildren, Blake and Lacy, Skylar, Corbin, Hoyt, Hunter and Brayden, one great great granddaughter, Chloe, three brothers; Dorman, Willis and George Miller and their families, many nieces, nephews, host of other relatives and friends.
