Barry J. Layton Sr., age 66, of Plato passed away June 6, 2024. Barry was born in Florissant, MO on October 5, 1957, to Merle and Patricia (Johnston) Layton.
Barry married Linda Mc Eben in 1983 in Homestead, Florida. He worked as a freelance motorcycle mechanic his whole life. Barry enjoyed social get togethers and family barbeques. He was a motorcycle enthusiast.

Barry is survived by his wife, Linda (Mc Eben) Layton; son, Barry Layton Jr.; brothers, Merle Layton and Kirk Layton; and sister, Patricia Layton. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Layton.
