As a devoted Army wife, Betty embraced the adventure of life and raising her children around the country and world, including Alaska, France, Germany, Missouri, and making lasting memories wherever she went. After settling back in Columbus, Indiana, Betty served as a city bus driver for 17 years where her commitment and generous spirit shone brightly. She was known for her kindness, even to the point of giving a brand-new coat off her back to someone in need.
A gifted quilter and seamstress, Betty poured her heart into creating beautiful works of art that will be cherished by her family for generations. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for family and friends will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
