Graveside services for Betty Lou Crabtree, Age 95 of Alton, MO will be 10:00am Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the Bailey Cemetery, under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO.
Betty Lou (Wheeler) Crabtree, age 95 of Alton, MO was born January 16, 1930 in Alton, MO and went to her heavenly home August 16, 2025.
She was a very independent woman, able to live in her home until a month ago, with a special health aid. She loved her cats, phone calls and visits from family and friends. Betty was best known for cooking, especially the best pies.
She is survived by two stepsons, Dennis and Tammy Crabtree of Winona, MO, Keith and Carla Crabtree of Ellington, MO, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends who will mourn her passing.
Preceding her in death were her parents Joe and Eva Wheeler, her husband Allen Crabtree, a stepson Eugene Crabtree, two sisters Jettie Sisco and Jewell Mauldin, one brother Elvis Wheeler, one half-brother Homer Wheeler, four half-sisters, Joyce Barton, Lois Cates, Joyce Johnson, Victoria Blankenship and sister-in-law, Shirley Wheeler.
