Memorial Services for Billy Lee Moore, Age 70 of Mountain View, Missouri will be held on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 at The Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, beginning at 10:00 AM.
Billy Lee Moore, 70, was born on May 3, 1955, in Willow Springs, Missouri, to Claude and Lucille (Edwards) Moore. He went to be with the Lord on April 16, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lucille Moore; his grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
Bill began working at a grocery store in high school and spent over 20 years at King Soopers in Aurora, Colorado. In 2001, he moved to Mountain View, Missouri, to be closer to his family. He later worked as a maintenance man for Brookview Apartments until his health forced him to retire. Throughout his life, he was always a hard worker and dependable individual.
He is survived by his brother, Michael (Carolyn) Moore of Houston, TX; sister, Susan (Curt) Woolsey of Mountain View, MO; nieces, Katy (David) Riggs, Sheri (Greg) Lowe, Anna (Austin) Cooper, and Allison Woolsey; nephew, Matthew Moore; great nieces, Sydney and Keeley; great nephews, Luke, Brady, Wyatt, Isaac, Zeke, and Lennox; and many cousins and friends.
Bill was a quiet man with a big heart. He was very close to his parents and cared for them in their later years. He loved animals, especially cats, and always talked about “his girls,” Cali and Pepper. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, reading westerns, and shooting his guns. He also loved playing card games with his friend Terri.
Bill will be deeply missed by his family and friends. We find comfort in knowing that he gave his life to the Lord at a young age and we will be reunited with him. We will always treasure our memories of him.
