Catherine Sue (Shepherd) McGath, age 70, passed away on July 13, 2022, at Willow Care Nursing Home, Willow Springs, Missouri. She was born to Leonard Lee and Glenna Naomi (Lambert) Shepherd on April 24, 1952, in West Plains, Missouri. Catherine married Rollie Junior McGath on February 27, 1973, in Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie McGath; her daughter, Kimberly Sue Fuller; sister, Patricia Ann Ledgerwood; and many other relatives.
Survivors include her daughters, Katrina McGath and fiancé, Edward Fuller of Thayer, MO, and Teona McGath of Independence, MO; two granddaughters, Brianna Moore and husband, Brandon of Thayer, MO, and Cassandra Fuller and husband, Brandon LaMacchia of Ironton, MO; three great-grandchildren; and a niece, Beverly Craig and husband, Donnie of Birch Tree, MO;
Catherine loved being around her family, and she loved to cook. She enjoyed watching T.V. and reading. Catherine was a churchgoer and would do anything for anyone who needed help. She also loved to dance, go out to eat, and love all animals. Catherine was a wonderful mom, daughter, grandmother, and friend. She will truly be missed by everyone.
