Charles Eugene Crouch was born in Pomona, Missouri, on October 8, 1947, to Charles and Marie (Culbertson) Crouch. He departed this world on August 20, 2025, just one day after celebrating his 58th wedding anniversary to his loving wife, Barbara (Clouse) Crouch.

As high school sweethearts from Summersville High School, they were married on August 19, 1967. To this union, twin girls were born. After briefly living in Tyrone and Willow Springs, they purchased a house in the country near Mountain View, Missouri, where they raised their family.

Charles spent almost 37 years of his life working for Pepsi, working his way up to management. He was known as “Pepsi man” around the area and enjoyed his job immensely. He never knew a stranger, and he loved telling stories about his time with Pepsi and the antics he and others would get into.

You could find him in the woods during hunting season, on the lake fishing, or in his man cave working on computers, ham radios, or some other gadget. He also loved going camping, and when his girls were younger, he would often challenge them to water skiing contests.  Most of the time, he lost, but he would still go back for more. You never knew what would come out of his mouth and who would be the butt of his jokes, but they were always in good fun.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; his twin daughters, Annetta Hill (Harold) and Janetta Cunningham (Jimmy) both from Springfield, MO; his bonus daughter, Carol Lee, of Mountain View, MO; his sister, Melba Stewart of Mabelvale, AR; his only niece, Mary Lynn Wooley Cameron (Cloys) of Malvern, AR; one great-nephew; one great-niece; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. He is further survived by nine grandchildren, Breanne Tomlinson (Joshua) of Bolivar, MO, Shelby Hill of Nixa, MO, Ally Hill and Marissa Hill of Springfield, MO, Jeremy Hill (Bay) of Overland Park, KS, Arial Peat of Republic, MO, Kierstin Miller and Tyler Lee of Springfield, MO, and Madisyn Peacock of Fleming, GA; sixteen great-grandchildren, Oakley, Autumn, Porsha, Camryn, Blake, Parquer, Noah, Maverick, Felicity, James, Alexia, Landon, Brayleigh, Jayden, Colton, and Sawyer; and his bonus grandkids, Becca, Jesse, and Dakota Lee. He also had a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. We would be remiss if we did not also mention his Pepsi family, for whom he cared deeply, even after being forced to retire due to his health.

In his 50s, he gave his heart to the Lord, was baptized, and went on to help Barbara serve as pastor in Willow Springs.  Then, again, in Mountain View in recent months.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marie Crouch; his in-laws, Floyd Clouse, Alta Clouse, and Marjorie Clouse; one sister, Lorene Crouch; and a host of loved aunts and uncles, all of whom he is now celebrating with in heaven.
