Clifford Stotler, age 84 of Alton, MO was born June 8, 1941 in the Long Hollow area in Oregon County, MO and departed this life January 24, 2026.
In September 1962 he married the love of his life Sharon Bates. They had one son Jeffrey Stotler who preceded him in death in 2020. They made their home in Rolla, MO where Clifford was a barber for many years and made many friends. But his heart was always in Oregon County where he finally returned to live, to do what he loved to do, deer, turkey and bow hunting.
Clifford is survived by his wife Sharon of the home in Alton, MO, six grandchildren, Casey Whittaker (Zac), Cowdy Rowden, Jordan Burnett, Shane Stotler, Mason Hollis and Landon Hollis, five great-grandchildren, Brook, Autumn, Emma, Nevaeh and Cooper, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ada Serverion, son Jeffrey Stotler, brothers Kenny Stotler, Bob Stotler and Carl Stotler, sisters Nadine Markham, Lucy Huff and Paralee Littles.
Jamie asked Cliff if he was ready should Jesus call and he replied “Yes, I sure am, I am tired and ask if I could move him closer to the pretty cloud”. So know Clifford didn’t disappear, he just slipped into another life, one, where tears are wiped away, where pain doesn’t get the final word, where joy is not a passing moment but eternal. He moved to the other side of that cloud. Cliff will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
