Coleen Zella McCollum, 84 years, 3 months, and 13 days old, passed away on, October 15, 2021 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, Missouri with her family by her side.
Coleen was born July 2, 1937 in Smallett, Missouri to Gordon and Emma (Evans) Bunyard.
Coleen and Glen McCollum were united in marriage on April 21, 1965 in Rockford, Illinois.
Coleen owned and worked at two different beauty shops in Illinois. After retirement, Coleen and Glen moved back to Ava, Missouri.
Coleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen; and her brother, Troy Bunyard.
Coleen is survived by one brother, Eldon and Maryjo Bunyard, Rockford, IL; cousins, Jerry and Joan Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Joe Johnson, Judy Chaffee, Jeanetta Silvey, Joan McKnight and Janice Barnes; nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heart of the Ozarks for all the wonderful care they gave Coleen.
A graveside funeral service for Coleen will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Ava, Missouri with burial to follow. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Roberts. Memorials may be made to the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
