Effie Joy (Qualls) Graham

Graveside Services for Effie Joy (Qualls) Graham, Age 86 of Kosciusko, MS (formerly of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas) will be held on Saturday, February 7th, 2026 in The Riverside Cemetery, Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

Mrs. Effie Joy Graham, 87, passed away at UMMC on January 19, 2026, with her son Mark holding her hand. Joy was born on January 9, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Pearl Lee and Eunice Sutton Qualls, she was the baby of the family. She lived the majority of her adult life in Jacksonport, Arkansas, she recently moved to Kosciusko to be closer to her youngest grandson whom she adored dearly.

Joy loved working in her yard, planting flowers and watching them grow. She was so proud to take you on a stroll and tell you about each bloom. She loved spending time outdoors and enjoying the beauty of nature. Her garden consisted of many different colored plants and flowers, but pink was always her favorite. She worked hard her entire life, no matter the obstacles she may have faced.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Lindsey and wife Holly of Kosciusko, Rusty Lindsey and wife Lisa of Cord, AR and Bob Lindsey and wife Adillet of Newark, AR; grandchildren, Lane Lindsey, Jon Lindsey and wife Jerica, Heather Smith and husband Josh, Allison Lindsey and Sarah Lindsey; seven great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Eunice Qualls; brothers, Albert Ward, Fred Ward, Paul Ward, Ernest Ward, James Qualls; sister, Margie Cook.
