Judy Denise Redd, 64, Willow Springs, Missouri was born January 9, 1962 to the late Paul McKinley and Wilma Jane “Tooley” Collins, and passed away April 11, 2026 in West Plains, Missouri.
In 1999 she married Dale Oscar Redd at their family home in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Judy loved to crochet, crafting, gardening, word games and puzzles, and researching family history. Spending time with family and friends and cherishing moments with her grandchildren brought her the greatest joy.
Judy worked numerous years with multiple Walmart locations in Missouri and Colorado, holding a number of positions within the company. She also spent several years processing insurance claims for the Veterans Affairs while in Colorado.
She is survived by four children, Joshua Aaron Collins-Redd, Misti Shea Thornton (Chester), Janae Marie Collins-Redd and Kyle Matthew Collins-Redd and six grandchildren, Nevaeh, Madyson, Joshua, Landyn, Kaydyn and Elyzabeth Thornton, all of the family home.
She is survived by seven siblings, Donna Cook, Peace Valley, Missouri, Paula McDaniel, Batesville, Arkansas, Karen Collins, Meriden, Kansas, Gary Collins, Meriden, Kansas, Lora Collins, West Plains, Missouri, Sheilla Beltz (Wayne), Willow Springs, Missouri, Shane Collins (Candice), Hardenville, Missouri, and a host of nieces and nephews who she will always be “Aunt D” to, and many other family members and friends who love and will miss her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; four siblings, James Robert Collins, Kathy Louise Vivone, Keith Alan Collins (Nicki), and Darren Neil Collins.
Judy will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her love of family and friends. Her laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew her.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Chapel, West Plains, Missouri.
Burial will be at Howell Memorial Memorial Park Cemetery, Howell County, Missouri, under the direction of Carter Funeral Home, Inc., West Plains, Missouri.
