Linda Lou Rose

Linda Lou Rose, 72 years, 5 months, 2 days old, passed peacefully to Heaven on May 25, 2025, at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava.

Linda was born December 23, 1952, in Ozark, Missouri, to James Albert and Vonice Vada (Fitzgerald) Rose.

Linda was raised with her mother and father at Dogwood Hill.

She loved being active. She loved her parents and enjoyed everything that they wanted to do. She loved reading and was willing to help others. After her parents passed, she lived at Ava Place for several years. She made many friends there.  

Linda was a Christian and attended the Dogwood Nazarene Church, Beaver Full Gospel Church, and other churches that were having revivals. They all enjoyed attending church music specials as a family.   

Linda loved people, and they loved her. She had a wonderful memory for names and birthdates. She never met a stranger. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vonice; infant brother, James Donnie O’Neal Rose; several aunts, uncles, and her beloved friends.

She is survived by her sister, Gwen Yeisley and her son (nephew to Linda) Ted Yeisley; aunts, Erma Lee Lupton and Stella Fitzgerald; cousins, extended family, and many friends.           

Funeral services for Linda will be Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, Missouri, with burial following in the Ava Cemetery. She will be laid to rest next to her parents.  Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:30 P.M. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn.
