Paul Earl Riddle, born March 5, 1960, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on January 6, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri. Though his final days were spent in Missouri, Earl’s heart and soul were forever tied to the Sunshine State, with Florida running through his veins, Earl lived a life of energy and adventure, embodying the spirit of a true Floridian. In his youth, he wrestled alligators and raced motorcycles on flat tracks, earning a reputation for being “hell on wheels” with anything that had a motor. His passion for four-wheelers remained a constant source of joy throughout his life.
Earl met the love of his life, Lora, in Florida, and the two were married on November 24, 1979. Together, they shared 46 wonderful years of marriage, filled with adventure, laughter, and unwavering companionship. Earl and Lora’s journey was marked by hard work and dedication, especially in the construction industry where Earl was renowned as one of the best equipment operators on any job site. He also took pride in running dump trucks, always approaching his work with skill and commitment.
Known for his fun-loving nature, Earl was a master of pulling pranks and enjoyed teasing those around him, especially his beloved Jamie. His sense of humor, generosity, and zest for life left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Earl was the kind of man who would lend a hand to anyone in need, making friends wherever he went and brightening the lives of those around him.
Earl is survived by his devoted wife Lora; daughters Wendy Riddle, Brandy Moloney, and Jamie Riddle; siblings Jim, Sandy, Larry, and Robert; grandchildren Savanna, Paislee, Hudson, and Cheyenne; and numerous other cherished relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Nell and Paul Eugene Riddle, his mother-in-law Rosa Lee Stubblefield, as well as other beloved family members and friends.
A private celebration of Earl’s remarkable life will be held at a later date, to be determined. Earl’s legacy of laughter, kindness, and adventure will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
