Richard Glen Hayes, 80, most recently of West Plains, MO, was born February 4, 1945, to Minn and Anna Hayes in Alton, MO, and passed away September 1, 2025. He was the youngest of 4 children.
Richard married Lynna Jones in 1965, and worked for more than 40 years at Jones Glass Company in Thayer, MO. He was a hard worker and was dedicated to his family and church.

He was preceded by in death by: his parents; his brother, Minn Ivory Hayes, Jr.; his 2 sisters, Louise Wilburn and Anna Lee Cates.
He is survived by: his son, Matthew Hayes; 2 grandsons, Brent Hayes and Corey Hayes; 3 great-grandchildren Matthew Green, Serenity Hayes, and August Hayes.
Arrangements are under the direction of The Clary Funeral Home, Thayer, Missouri.
