Vica Irene (Mackey) Comstock of Gepp, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Gepp, Arkansas. Vica was born on February 19, 1942, in Independence, Missouri to Bill Mackey and Mary Genevieve (Wait) Mackey.
Vica was united in marriage to Kermit Clyde Comstock on September 28, 1956 in Henderson, Arkansas. To this union three children were born. Vica spent her working years as a factory worker at Baxter Labs. She enjoyed get togethers with friends and family, hummingbirds, crocheting, quilting, Christmas, trips to Tunica, eating out, westerns, and game shows such as Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right, and Survivor. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and a member of the Viola First Baptist Church.
Vica leaves to mourn her passing sons, Billy Comstock of Gepp, Arkansas and Dale Comstock of Gepp, Arkansas; daughter, Patty McCarty (Rob) of Viola, Arkansas; sister, grandchildren, Callie Irene Fisher of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Billy Jo Comstock of Ravenden, Arkansas, Kristy Bloodworth of Ozark Acres, Arkansas, Stacie Hickman of Viola, Arkansas, and Casey Comstock of Gepp, Arkansas; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Hooks (Ronnie) of Texas; many other family members and friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents (Bill and Mary Mackey), brother (Tommy Mackey), and sister (Lula May Garcia).
Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas with Bro. Gregory Yount officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
