Virginia “Ginny” Meister Norman, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born August 30, 1936, in St. Louis, MO to Arnold Wilhelm and Clara (Heitner) Meister and was 87 years old.
Ginny attended school in St. Louis up to her senior year, and later completed her GED. On May 1st, 1974, she married Stephen (Steve) Allen Norman. For many years Ginny and Steve lived in Willow Springs and faithfully attended the Church of Christ. She worked at the Ferguson Drug Pharmacy as the office manager until her retirement. Ginny was past President of the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce. Ginny and her late husband made every opportunity to boost Willow Springs; and, the community supported them. In her free time, Ginny enjoyed shopping, cross stitching, needle point, gardening, and travelling. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Steve; her parents, Arnold and Clara; and her sisters, Helen M. Duke and Marilyn (Schildroth) Maurer.
She is survived by her son, Michael Arnold Boyle and his wife Pam; her son, Gregory Walter Boyle and his wife Elizabeth; her daughter, Pamela Ann Dudley; all of Willow Springs; her son, James Patrick Boyle and his wife Carolyn of Springfield, MO.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation for Ginny will be held at the Church of Christ in Willow Springs on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM with the funeral service immediately following with Pastor Andrew Bryan officiating.
