17 Tigers Awarded Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

Seventeen University of Missouri softball players earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2024-25 academic year, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced Thursday, Aug. 7.

Stefania Abruscato, Claire Cahalan, Kara Daly, Mya Dodge, Courtney Donahue, Cierra Harrison, Abby Hay, Adi Koller, Jayci Kruse, Kayley Lenger, Kadence Shepherd, Sophie Smith, Haidyn Sokoloski, Nathalie Touchet, Madison Uptegrove, Madison Walker and Abbie Wilhelm earned All-America Scholar-Athlete distinction for Mizzou.

Daly and Kruse were recognized for the fourth-straight year, while Harrison and Lenger have earned the academic honor for the third year in a row. Cahalan, Hay, Touchet and Walker have now been recognized in back-to-back seasons.

Student-athletes who achieve a 3.5 grade-point average or higher on a 4.0 scale for the 2024-25 academic year are recognized as Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.

Mizzou finished the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.64 GPA which ranked 44th out of 164 NCAA Division I institutions.

Overall, 9,193 collegiate student-athletes captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2024-25 academic year. NCAA Division I finished second behind Division III with 2,544 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2024-25.
