- Highland Springs Country Club has hosted every iteration of the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy Foods, first played in 1990. This week marks the 36th playing of the Price Cutter Charity Championship.
- The Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy Foods is one of four tournaments on the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour schedule to be played every season since the Tour’s inaugural 1990 season.
» The other three events with such distinction are the Visit Knoxville Open, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open, and Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron.
» Only the Price Cutter Charity Championship, Wichita Open (already contested), and Albertsons Boise Open are set to mark their 36th playing this year, as the Visit Knoxville Open was only held once (2021) amid the 2020-21 combined season.
- PGA TOUR winner Matt McCarty earned the first of his three victories last season at the Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy Foods. Declared #TOURBound following the win, McCarty went on to secure the ThreeVictory Promotion just five weeks later with additional titles at the Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Woodhouse and the Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron.
Neal Shipley became the second two-time winner this season, joining Austin Smotherman, after claiming last week’s title at The Ascendant presented by Blue. While Smotherman is not in the field this week, both players remain in pursuit of the Three-Victory Promotion, which would earn them an immediate promotion to the PGA TOUR
