The Wynn Award is presented annually to the graduating active female senior student-athlete(s) with the highest grade-point average. The award is named in honor of the late Missouri State educator, coach and athletics administrator, Dr. Mary Jo Wynn, who became the first female to be named as a Missouri Sports Legend by the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.

Both student-athletes completed their degree requirements in May to finish their undergraduate studies with perfect 4.0 grade-point averages. The tandem completed a combined 281 credit hours and made exclusively A’s throughout their academic careers.

Armitage is a two-time member of the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team in swimming and earned All-MVC honorable mention honors in 2019. She is an Anthropology major and graduated summa cum laude with additional scrutiny in the prestigious Honors College.

Crawford is an Exercise & Movement Science major who also graduated summa cum laude in May. She was named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete team in 2020 and is a four-time honoree on the MVC Honor Roll.
