MLB: M’s Hector Santiago Suspended For Substance On Glove

Seattle Mariners pitcher Hector Santiago was suspended 10 games and fined by Major League Baseball for having a foreign substance on his glove. 

Santiago is the first player ejected and suspended under the league’s new crackdown on pitchers using foreign substances.

He is appealing the suspension because he had rosin on his glove side, and rosin is legal.
