The Mizzou Tigers fell to Auburn 17-14 in a heartbreaking overtime loss at Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday. Nathaniel Peat had an open lane to the end zone for a walk-off touchdown, but the ball slipped out of his hands as he tried to extend it over the goal line, and the fumble was recovered by Auburn to end the game. Harrison Mevis also missed a 26-yard game-winning field goal as time expired in regulation. Mizzou is now 2-and-2 overall and 0-and-1 in the SEC. The Tigers host number-one Georgia this Saturday.
