Royals 13, Mariners 12

The Royals scored 11 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning in a 13-12 comeback victory of the Mariners in Kansas City. The Royals trailed by nine heading into the inning. Michael Massey had a home run in four RBI, while Hunter Dozier had three hits and drove in two. Jose Cuas picked up the win in relief, and Scott Barlow earned his 24th save. Kansas City has won five of six.

The Royals overcame an 11-2 deficit to match their largest comeback win in club history, previously done on June 15, 1979 at Milwaukee, where they trailed 11-2 but won 14-11.
