The Blues couldn’t keep pace with Chicago in a 7–3 loss to the Blackhawks last night. A four-goal second period proved to be too much as St. Louis went scoreless on five power plays. Tyler Tucker scored the fastest goal of the season, just 27 seconds into the game, but Jordan Binnington, who had a shutout on Saturday, allowed seven of the next eight goals scored. Otto Sternberg scored his first NHL goal. The Blues continue their three-game road trip in Utah on Friday.
