Blues record win No. 2,000

With a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators, the St. Louis Blues have earned win No. 2,000 in franchise history.

Joining the League in 1967, the Blues have become the eighth NHL franchise to reach 2,000 wins and joined the Philadelphia Flyers as the only two non-Original Six clubs to hit the milestone.

The Blues’ all-time record now sits at 2,000 wins, 1,687 regulation losses, 432 ties (through 2003-04) and 181 overtime losses.

The club reached win No. 2,000 in exactly 4,300 games played.

Since their inaugural season in 1967-68 – in which they made the Stanley Cup Final as an expansion team – the Blues’ 2,000 wins are fifth-most in the NHL. Trailing only Boston, Montreal, Philadelphia and the New York Rangers, the Blues have more wins since their inception than historically-dominant franchises such as Chicago, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Toronto.
