Cardinals 4, Astros 2

The Cardinals took care of business in a 4-2 win over the Houston Astros at Busch Stadium. St. Louis starter Jordan Montgomery earned the win after striking out six and allowing two runs, one earned, through six-and-two-thirds frames. Jordan Hicks notched his fifth save as the Cardinals won their second straight game. Paul DeJong launched his 12th home run of the season to help St. Louis improve to 33-and-45. The Cardinals remain in last place in the NL Central. Miles Mikolas starts for St. Louis against Houston tonight.
