The Nashville Predators scored three goals in the third period of their 6-3 win over the St. Louis Blues at Bridgestone Arena. Michael McCarron scored in the fifth minute of the final frame to put the Preds up by three, but Jake Neighbours and Jordan Kyrou scored to get within one with just over two minutes left in regulation. Filip Forsberg and Mark Jankowski knocked in an empty-netter to put the game away. Forsberg scored twice in the victory, while Roman Josi and Anthony Beauvillier lit the lamp. Juuse Saros laid out for 44 saves. The Predators comfortably hold the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference with 92 points. Brandon Saad scored in the losing effort for the Blues, who are in danger of falling out of playoff contention with 84 points.
